August round-up: new starts and new perspectives...
With August bank holiday weekend in full swing and schools in Scotland already back to start the new term, it certainly feels like summer days are slipping away all too easily! We hope you have been managing to grab some time for sun, fun and recharging your batteries in recent weeks!
Here at the Confidence Collaborative we have each enjoyed some summer trips and family time but there has also been a buzz of activity behind the scenes! After our busy weekend at Womanifest earlier in the summer, and ably supported by our lovely marketing intern Aina, we continued to gather feedback via our survey and take your perspectives into account as we build the right membership for you. Thank you to everyone who replied - this provided valuable insight for us and will help ensure we deliver content that is most relevant to your needs.
Aina has now successfully finished her internship with CC Club so we first of all want to say a great big THANK YOU! and wish her well as she embarks on her social media marketing career. We will of course be staying in touch! Aina has even agreed to share some of her own learnings with you all in an upcoming article coming soon so stay tuned in September!

You told us that Networking and being part of a community was important to you, so we are delighted to announce 🤗 that the first Confident Career Club fun networking session will be available for all to attend absolutely FREE!
You told us mid-week evenings work best for you, so we will be hosting our launch party networking session on Tuesday 26th September from 7.30pm.

Competition Time!
You told us that most of you had never tried one-to-one coaching before so on the night we will be having a competition where 2 lucky winners can grab a free coaching session with either Maggie or Joanne!
You also told us that in-depth masterclasses, learning from experts, wellbeing and mindset tips and tools were your top favourites for membership content - so we have been busy working on items to add to our Confidently Me offering in the Confident Career Club. We'll be telling you more about these on the networking party night and sharing information on our special introductory offers for founding members - so we hope to see many of you there!
In Case You Missed It...
In recent weeks we have covered a range of topics in our free content offering. We had a focus on Visibility in the Workplace in July's Lunch & Learn (the recording will be accessible to paid members, and some key learnings are available to all in the follow-up article on Self Promotion). We continued the theme with some ideas on Learning to Present with Confidence and considered the importance of the icon on everybody's minds this summer - Barbie! Knowing when to quit was the topic in Should I Leave My Job, followed by advice on managing setbacks in NotPromoted(again)!
We hope everyone found something useful from these, and that it has whetted your appetite for more! Going forward we will continue to publish 2 free articles each month, and to keep you in the loop as we run events and regularly add the valuable items you asked for into the Confident Career Club. (Masterclasses, Coaching Couch, Wellbeing Tools etc)
